View Behavioral Health LLC in Long Beach, CA, is seeking an Utilization Review Coordinator to support hospitalizations with UR processes, audits, and insurance compliance. The role emphasizes accuracy in Medi-Cal and TAR handling within our inpatient and outpatient programs.

The candidate will manage TAR submissions, maintain medical records, and coordinate with the UR Committee to improve care efficiency while ensuring adherence to DHCS, HIPAA, and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related healthcare field.
• Two years of experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or hospital settings.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration across disciplines and departments.
• Proficiency in computers and electronic documentation.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for documentation and coordination of care.

Responsibilities

• Audit charts and analyze resource utilization patterns.
• Report trends to the Utilization Review Committee.
• Submit TAR forms accurately and within deadlines.
• Maintain patient and payer records.
• Print or upload patient medical records as required.
• Track TAR submissions to ensure timely processing and approval or denial status updates.
