Springwoods Behavioral Health, an 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, provides acute inpatient treatment for adolescent, adult, and specialty program for women. The hospital also offers outpatient treatment. Our six-acre campus is adjacent to a 123-acre Audubon Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary, which is held in perpetuity and cannot be developed from its natural state. The UM Coordinator coordinates the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of Springwoods Behavioral Health’s utilization review functions. The UM Coordinator will achieve the goals of clinical, financial and utilization as set forth in the UM plan by effective management and communication. The UM Coordinator functions as the internal resource on issues related to the appropriate utilization of resources, coordination of care across the continuum and utilization review. The UM Coordinator is responsible for carrying out assignments in a manner to assure success in financial management, quality and operational management objectives. The UM Coordinator participates in program development and unit performance improvement. The UM Coordinator consistently demonstrates the core values and mission statement of Springwoods Behavioral Health.
