Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Utilization Management Coordinator on a PRN basis with availability from 7am to 10pm. The role supports faxing initial, concurrent, and discharge reviews to insurance providers and documents information in EPIC.

It involves handling calls, faxes, and clerical duties to facilitate Utilization Management processes. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least 5 years of hospital or insurance industry experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 5 years of hospital and/or insurance industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in faxing initial, concurrent or discharge reviews to insurance companies.
• Documents information submitted/received by phone or fax from insurance companies into EPIC.
• Manages phone and fax lines; processes incoming faxes, scans documents and performs clerical duties to assist Utilization Management.
