Utilization & Disease Management Administration Coordinator - Phone Intake - Remote

This position is a remote opportunity available in TX, FL, KS, KY, and NV.

Pay Range

Base pay: $40,000.00/yr - $52,300.00/yr

Role Overview

The UM Administration Coordinator supports utilization management through administrative and customer support activities, including handling incoming calls, processing referrals and authorizations, and assisting with clinical case triaging. The role requires working within defined policies with some discretion over prioritization, mainly supporting provider and member inquiries.

Shift Hours

8 am - 5 pm

Qualifications
  • At least 1 year healthcare administrative or technical support experience
  • Experience with HMO and utilization review processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • High-speed internet access (minimum 25 Mbps download, 10 Mbps upload)
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records and medical terminology
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Customer service or member support experience
Additional Details

This is a full-time, remote role with occasional travel for training or meetings. The role involves using HireVue for interviews and may require providing social security information during the application process.
