Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of residence, unrestricted.
• Minimum of 3 years of acute medical experience.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. EST.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree required; BSN desired.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates care to support appropriate healthcare offerings.
• Gathers scientific information and applies standards to render coverage and medical judgment.
• Communicates with providers to facilitate care and treatment.
• Identifies referral opportunities and care packages.
• Promotes effectiveness and appropriate use of healthcare services.
• Collaborates with internal and external components in utilization management.
• Works in a traditional office environment with productivity expectations.
• Performs documentation review and data entry using laptops and PC displays.
• Demonstrates ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
