Job summary

City of Nixa is seeking a Full-Time employee to perform general maintenance, operation, and repair tasks for the water distribution system within the Water Quality Department. Work is outdoors under the City’s jurisdiction.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED, and candidates must hold a Missouri Class B CDL with air brakes and a Class D Water Operator License or obtain it within one year of hire. Employment is non-exempt under FLSA.

Experience Required:

Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Direct Supervisor: Water Quality Superintendent or designee.

Supervisory Responsibility: No

Primary Work Location: Outdoors within the City of Nixa jurisdiction.

Certification: Valid State of Missouri Class “B” Commercial driver’s license with air brakes, possess a Class “D” Water Operator License or obtain it within one (1) year of hire date.

Salary: $20.92-$21.97
