Job Description:

The Utility Worker will report to the Operations Management team. They will ensure all vehicles are fully fueled, fluids topped, and ready for service at various times of day. They will also be responsible for vehicle interior inspections and light maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Maintenance Department and Technicians with tasks such as vehicle washing, cleaning, fueling, seat repairs, fluid checks, and facility maintenance according to established schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment; report unsafe practices or conditions to the supervisor.
  • Record time and materials used for each assignment.
  • Assist technical staff with automotive repair and maintenance as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Required and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with good prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
  • Additional skills and physical demands may be required.

Education and Qualifications:

Hard requirements:

  • At least 1 year of janitorial or auto detailing experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License with a minimum of one year of driving experience and a clean driving record.
