Heavy and light physical work in a wide variety of activities such as: cutting grass, weeds, trees, and brush; cleaning culverts, drains, and ditches; moving, loading, and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment; assisting in the repair and construction of roadways, walkways, utility installations, etc. Work is generally performed outdoors under varied weather conditions. Certain positions may require driving a Parish vehicle, thus possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record will be given preference on such positions. Reports to the assigned Foreman/Superintendent or comparable supervisor.
THE II LEVEL RECOGNIZES SATISFACTORY COMPLETION OF AN EMPLOYEE'S INITIAL PROBATION AT THE UTILITY WORKER I LEVEL.
