Working under the supervision in charge of field operations, the primary responsibility will be to perform labor and technical work to maintain the water and wastewater systems. This includes performing 24-hour standby duties as needed or on a rotating basis to ensure the operational integrity, safety, and maintenance of facilities.
Responsibilities are similar to the general primary duties, with a focus on labor and technical work for water and wastewater systems. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License, and within six months, the ability to obtain a Class "A" Texas Commercial Driver's License with tank endorsement. Also, a minimum of Class "D" Water Treatment/Distribution license or equivalent is required within one year of employment.
