The Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District’s service area includes 8.3 square miles in the City of Mukilteo, the City of Everett, parts of the Unincorporated Areas of Snohomish County, and Paine Field Airport. We provide essential water and wastewater services to our community of approximately 28,000 customers.

As a Utility Worker, you will take on active, hands-on work in the Operations Department using hand, power, and mobile tools to help keep District systems operating safely and efficiently. You will work alongside experienced team members, handle individual and specialized assignments, and respond to after-hours or emergency needs when reliable service matters most.
Your work may include installing, servicing, and repairing water and wastewater facilities; repairing leaks; flushing water systems; installing valves and setting meters; and providing courteous, professional service to customers.
Depending on experience and qualifications, the successful candidate will fill one of the following positions:
Utility Worker I: $6,627 - $8,461
Utility Worker II: $7,090 - $9,055
Utility Worker III: $7,586 - $9,689
The candidate's experience and qualifications will determine classification and salary placement.
