Responsibilities :

Under the supervision of the Food Service Director / Supervisor, the foodservice aide works in conjunction with the cooks in preparing resident meal trays and accommodating special dietary requirements, along with serving food to residents, visitors, or staff.

• Assist dishwasher in taking up food from bulk truck.
• Set up pot sink for soaking dirty dishes and load dishwasher.
• Unload clean pots and pans and organize on pot rack shelves.
• Hang clean utensils on carousel and in proper bins inside cook’s cabinet.
• Assist dishwasher in unloading dishes, etc.
• Set aside stained items so dishwasher can clean them.
• Bring clean kettle strainer and kettle knobs to the Dietary Office daily.
• Continue to clean dirty pots, pans, and utensils.
• Answer the kitchen phone and send all needed items to the floor.
• Organize clean items and put them on pot rack shelves and bins.
• Wash all cleaning buckets.
• Clean and organize all kitchen areas.
• Clean tables and underneath tables, pot rack, long cart, and shelves by pot sink.
• Sweep and mop kitchen areas.
• Bring down dirty rags and load them in the washing machine; when done, transfer them to the dryer.

Job Type : Part Time

Salary : $21.8270 per hour
