Job description

BHI Energy is currently looking for a Utility worker at the Cliffside Steam Station, located in Mooresboro, NC. This is a long term, local hire position and does not pay per-diem or any relocation payment. In this position you will be responsible for day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of buildings and other assigned areas within the facility. Work performance and cleaning shall be to a level that meets established cleaning standards and expectations. You will be responsible and not limited to the following:

1. Actively participate in Pre-Job and Safety Briefings
2. Follow established safe work practices
3. Use administrative documents, procedures, data sheets/forms properly
4. Climb and work from ladders and scaffolding if necessary
5. Capable of lifting a minimum of fifty pounds overhead

Minimum qualifications:

1. Must be able to pass drug test
2. Must be able to pass security background check
3. Must be able to be respirator fit
