GENERAL PURPOSE:

Ensure all utility work is completed, manage trash, wash fountains, and stock presses. Maintain cleanliness of anilox rolls and ensure supplies are available at presses. Support the 5S program and assist as a press helper when needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Manage waste and keep the work area organized.
• Ensure each rewinder is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Cut cores specific to each job and for other areas as needed.
• Replenish and organize supplies at rewind stations.
• Maintain blades and keep the core area clean and organized.
• Assist in rewind and packing operations as needed.
• Transport skids to shipping daily.
• Operate core cutter, tabletop, and Arpeco machines.
• Support the 5-Basics initiative.
• Keep anilox rolls cleaned and returned to the press area.
• Supply the press area to minimize downtime.
• Assist in print station cleanup and monitor presses during breaks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 3-6 months relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills including email and word processing.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read a ruler and perform basic arithmetic.
• Pass color vision and hue tests.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Good teamwork and attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
