Elior North America in Durham, NC is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to oversee sanitation operations, clean floors and dining areas, and coordinate tasks to ensure smooth service.

The role requires independent work and teamwork, strict adherence to safe operating procedures, waste disposal, inventory handling, and maintaining dishes and cooking equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in foodservice or maintenance.
• Able to use safe operating procedures and sound judgement.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Care for and clean floors and table areas.
• Restock supplies in the dining area.
• Remove and properly dispose of waste.
• Receive and stock inventory.
• Clean, maintain, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, the dish room, and other equipment.

Utility Worker

We are looking to add a skilled utility worker to our team. As a utility worker, you will have the opportunity to oversee sanitation operations and coordinate tasks to ensure completion.

What you'll be doing:

• Caring for and cleaning floors and table areas.
• Restocking supplies in the dining area.
• Removal and proper disposal of waste.
• Receiving and stocking inventory.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, the dish room, and other equipment.

What we're looking for:

• Able to use safe operating procedures and sound judgement.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Prior experience in foodservice and/or a maintenance role.

Compensation Range

$16 an hour
