Sodexo in Atlanta is seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in food production and service areas. You will wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, sweep and mop floors, stock supplies, and assist with setup and breakdown as needed.

High school diploma or GED is preferred; no related work experience required. The role offers $16.00 per hour, full-time hours, and benefits with training opportunities through Sodexo.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a machine and clean work areas.
• Clean and sanitize tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment with appropriate chemicals to meet sanitation standards.
• Restock soap, towels, and cleaning materials; assist with setup/breakdown.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces; transporting and storing supplies; and assisting with basic set-up and break-down tasks as directed. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position.
