Job summary

The Forest at Duke is hiring a Utility Worker to assist with our dining service operations. Your responsibilities will include setting up, operating, and cleaning the dishwashing machine, as well as sanitizing the dish room and food service area.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in cleaning methods and able to operate kitchen equipment. We offer a beautiful campus, friendly work environment, and competitive pay starting at $15.00/hour plus benefits like health insurance and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods and sanitizing agents.
• Experience operating a dishwashing machine and other kitchen equipment.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English and follow instructions.
• Willingness to assist team members and work collaboratively.
• Capability to walk, bend, and lift weights up to 50 pounds.
