Position Title: Utility Worker

Responsible for disassembling, cleaning, and sanitizing all food-processing equipment, including storage areas, manning the dish machine and pot washing stations, sanitizing floors, walls, mobile kitchen equipment, handling line clean-ups, enforcing safety rules, monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies.

FULL-TIME & PART-TIME opportunities available, including weekends. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.

Supervisor Title: Executive Chef

I. POSITION OBJECTIVE

Follow sanitation regulations to prevent bacteria spread and complete daily cleaning assignments timely.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, family, guests, and staff.
• Clean kitchen floors and walls, kettles, steamers, carts, and dish machines.
• Wash all service ware and store items properly.
• Properly dispose of trash and deliver food and nourishments.
• Assist in dining areas and handle dish collection.

III. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.

IV. KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum eighth-grade education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions.

V. LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

• Obtain necessary food safety certifications, including Serv Safe within one year.

VI. PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly stand, walk, handle objects, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, talk, hear, and smell.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Read and write in English; communicate effectively.
