Job summary

National Machinery in Ohio is seeking dedicated individuals to join its team on the Utility Wells 1st and 3rd shifts. This role includes spray painting, hydrostatic testing, building shipping skids, shipping/receiving, material handling and inventory control, with use of a large overhead crane and hand tools.

Candidates should be comfortable with physical work and safety requirements. You will work standard 8-hour shifts with overtime pay and shift premiums.

Utility Wells 1st and 3rd Shift

Duties will range from spray painting, hydrostatic testing, building shipping skids, shipping/receiving, material handling, inventory control, and other duties as assigned. Use a large overhead crane and hand tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have experience using hand tools and power equipment.
• Must work well as a team player.
• Must have the ability to operate a forklift.
• Must be self‑motivated.
• Must have good attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Spray painting experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Basic PC skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Steel‑toed safety shoes and safety glasses are required.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs. at times.
• Must be able to work from a ladder or a platform ladder.
• Work with very large parts regularly, requiring manipulation of these large parts by pushing/pulling.

Schedule

• Standard 8‑hour shifts, 150% paid anytime over 8 hours daily, hours over 45 in a week are paid as double time.
• Shift availability, standard schedules shown below.
• First Shift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday.
• Second Shift 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday – Friday + 12.5% Shift Premium.
• Third Shift 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Sunday – Thursday + 7.5% Shift Premium.
