Job summary

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services firm, is seeking a Utility/Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Transportation team in our Raleigh, NC, Myrtle Beach, SC, North Charleston, SC, or Lexington, SC offices.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental/water resources engineering and at least 2 years of design experience; CAD software experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation; and an EIT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering or similar discipline from an accredited college or university.
• At least 2 years of relevant design experience.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation software experience; EIT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the design of water/wastewater and other civil engineering projects.
• Evaluating and analyzing existing projects.
• Coordinating with multiple utility owners, SCDOT, NCDOT, municipalities and regulatory agencies.
• Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects.
• Preparing design computations and quantity estimates.
• Developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department.

Mead & Hunt is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Transportation team as a Utility/Water/Wastewater Engineer in our Raleigh, NC, Myrtle Beach, SC, North Charleston, SC, or Lexington, SC office locations.

Responsibilities Include

• Assisting with the design of water/wastewater and other civil engineering projects

A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.

Required Qualifications
