Job summary

Edko, LLC in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Supervisor for utility vegetation management with a forestry or related degree. Independence, excellent communication, and map interpretation skills are essential.

Preferred: arborist certification or ability to obtain within a year, knowledge of local trees, and GPS/GIS/MS Office proficiency. Must travel, including overnights, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• AA or BA degree in forestry, arboriculture, or related field or utility vegetation management experience.
• Arborist certification or ability to obtain within 1 year is preferred.
• Ability to work in inclement weather and travel including overnight stays.
• Ability to interpret and follow maps and use GPS/GIS.
• Valid driver license with clean MVR and proficient MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise utility vegetation management tasks in Columbus, OH.
• Communicate effectively with landowners and team members.
• Interpret maps and use GPS/GIS to plan fieldwork.
• Travel as needed, including overnight stays.
• Maintain vehicle and comply with safety standards.
