Job summary

Clarendale at Bellevue Place in Nashville, TN, is seeking a full-time (and part-time with weekend availability) dishwasher to join our kitchen team and maintain cleanliness around the restaurant. You will collect, wash, and store dishes while supporting meal service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dishwasher or wait staff preferred.
• Experience operating industrial dishwashing machines.
• Ability to follow instructions and assist with additional tasks.
• High school diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect used dishes, plates and utensils from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines and ensure proper sorting.
• Wash items by hand when required, including pots and china.
• Store clean dishes and utensils safely and orderly.
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Monitor supply levels and report issues with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary
• Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues

Skills

• Work experience as a Dishwasher or on Wait Staff
• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
• High school diploma is a plus
