Clarendale at Bellevue Place, managed by Life Care Services, is seeking a full-time Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff and help maintain a clean, efficient dining operation for residents and guests. Responsibilities include collecting used dishes, loading and unloading dishwashers, washing items by hand when needed, and ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes during busy hours.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dishwasher or in wait staff is required or preferred.
• Hands-on experience with industrial dishwashing machines.
• Ability to follow directions and assist with various tasks.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload dishwashing machines
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils during peak hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock and place orders when necessary
• Check washing machines’ operation and report issues
