Job summary

Carillon Senior Living is seeking a Utility Technician to support kitchen operations in West Texas. The role involves dishwashing, pot washing, and general cleaning, with responsibilities including maintaining sanitary work areas and stocking supplies.

Schedule varies and weekends/holidays are included, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for training. Ideal candidates have a ninth grade education and at least 3 months’ experience in hotel, restaurant, or club settings;

Qualifications

• Have at least a ninth grade education.
• Minimum of three (3) months previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club setting preferred; will train.

Responsibilities

• Sets up the dish and pot washing area.
• Prepares for dishwashing and washes pots, dishes and utensils.
• Distributes and stores clean pots, dishes and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Empties trash containers as required.
• Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in work areas.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
• Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties and storing food and non-food supplies.
• Transports all clean and soiled linen to and from laundry.
• Food cart preparation (i.e. check food temps, document temps, reheat food, correct amount of food needed, etc.)

Who you are:
