External candidates hired by SAWS will receive a $1,000 Hiring Incentive, split into two payments of $500 on the second and fourth paycheck. After completing a six-month introductory period, they will be eligible for an additional $1,000 Retention Incentive paid during the seventh month. Job Summary
The Utility Technician performs manual and semi-skilled labor for the repair, construction, and maintenance of water distribution and wastewater systems. A valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License or obtaining one within six months of employment is required.
