The district is seeking a dedicated professional for the Collection Systems Maintenance division within the Operations department. The ideal candidate will have experience in wastewater management and a background in mechanical systems. The primary focus is on cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance of the sewer collection system, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with standards.
Under supervision, performs routine and semi-skilled work in construction, maintenance, and mechanical repair of district infrastructure; operates hand and power tools; performs related duties.
High school diploma or equivalent, some experience in construction, mechanical, or maintenance work. Valid Class C driver’s license required; specific certifications from SWRCB or CWGA within specified timeframes.
Requires physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, work in various environmental conditions, and wear safety equipment. Mental demands include reading, interpreting data, solving problems, and emergency response.
