Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Utility Technician for our Vidalia, GA operations. You will perform general labor tasks to support water, wastewater, and drainage facilities, including inspections and maintenance, while adhering to safety and SOPs. The role requires physical ability and willingness to work varying shifts.

Expect to carry out hands-on maintenance, assist with inventory, and support a safe, compliant work environment. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver's License with insurable driving record.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and perform routine maintenance.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable working around water and wastewater environments.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains items on water, wastewater and drainage facilities.
• Makes scheduled inspections.
• Performs lawn and gardening maintenance and repair.
• Shovels dirt and gravel.
• Maintains inventory of parts and maintenance supplies.
• Cleans office including vacuuming, sweeping, trash pickup, bathroom/kitchen cleanup.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call emergencies.

Utility Technician

The Utility Technician is responsible for performing various general labor activities that provide assistance at the jobsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repairs and maintains items on water, wastewater and drainage facilities.
• Makes scheduled inspections.
• Performs lawn and gardening maintenance and repair.
• Shovels dirt and gravel.
• Maintains inventory of parts and maintenance supplies.
• Cleans office including vacuuming, sweeping, trash pickup, bathroom/kitchen clean up.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or ged.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Driver's License and maintains insurable driving record.

TECHNICAL: Ability to follow manual & operating instructions. Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures & safety practices. Ability to perform routine maintenance/repairs. Ability to work with required tools (including jack hammer, demolishing saw, etc.). Comfortable in and around water/raw sewage.

COMMUNICATION: Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Willing to help others. Maintains composure in challenging situations.
