Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance, minor repairs, and routine inspections of facility equipment and systems.
• Maintain general facility upkeep, including painting, moving furniture, and clearing walkways.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Remove debris, empty trash, and clean stairways and high-traffic areas.
• Perform heavy lifting and safely move furniture, equipment, and supplies for room setups and events.
• Perform floor care: sweeping, mopping, stripping, finishing, buffing, and polishing surfaces.
• Vacuum, shampoo, extract, and steam-clean carpets and upholstery.
• Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment such as buffers and scrubbers.
• Maintain equipment and work areas following safety and operational standards.

We are looking for you to:

• Maintain general facility upkeep, including painting, moving furniture and equipment, completing minor building repairs, and clearing walkways as assigned.
• Follow all safety protocols and health and safety regulations to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Remove debris, empty trash, and clean stairways, hallways, and high-traffic areas.
• Perform heavy lifting and safely move furniture, equipment, and supplies for room setups, facility changes, and special events.
• Perform floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, stripping old wax, applying new floor finish, buffing, and polishing vinyl tile, concrete, and hardwood floors.
• Vacuum, shampoo, extract, and steam-clean carpets and upholstery to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Operate heavy-duty industrial cleaning equipment, including floor buffers, burnishers, auto-scrubbers, carpet extractors, and other facility maintenance machinery.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in accordance with established safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
