Job summary
US Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) PPQ in Laurel, MD seeks a WG-11 level technician to perform adjustment, maintenance, repair, replacement, modification and inspection of complex HVAC, waste sterilization, emergency generator and related systems.
Applicants must meet the qualifications for the WG-11 grade, and resumes must document the experience and/or education required for this grade; note that education substitution is not allowed for this grade.
Qualifications
- Experience with complex HVAC systems in large facilities.
- Experience or education sufficient for WG-11 grade level.
- No education substitution for this grade.
Responsibilities
- Adjust, maintain, repair, replace and modify HVAC, waste sterilization and generator systems.
- Inspect complex heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for reliability.
