You will serve as a Utility Systems Repairer-Operator Supervisor with the National Park Service in the New River Gorge National Park & Preserve.
As a Utility Systems Repairer-Operator Supervisor, you will perform the following duties: Supervises the operation, maintenance, and rehabilitation of park water treatment and distribution systems and wastewater collection and treatment systems. Plans water and wastewater system maintenance and rehabilitation. Ensures contractors follow terms of the contract, rules and regulations, and adheres to contract drawings and texts. Reviews and reports lost time accidents. Collects water samples and conducts extensive testing of samples. Manages inspections of wastewater systems. Installs, modifies, operates and repairs new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems such as sewage, water, oil, and gas distribution systems. Constructs, alters, modifies or repairs a wide range of features in buildings, quarters and other facilities. Operates various carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical equipment and power tools.
