This position is assigned to the Plant Operations Unit, under the supervision of the Utility Systems Operator Supervisor at the NWI Grand Island Medical Facility. The incumbent performs tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and operation of the boiler and chiller plants.
Includes various operational and maintenance responsibilities related to plant systems.
Applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date. Evidence of training or experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties is required and should be detailed in your resume. Ratings will be based on the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.

Safety protocols, protective equipment, and medical surveillance are in place to ensure safety. The role may require working in hot, cramped, and potentially hazardous environments, including inside boilers.
