Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Check registration and communicate adjustments to operators.
  • Understand line clearance, next order setup and stacker controls.
  • Perform monthly PM tasks on the stacker section.
  • Work safely per company policies; assist operators as needed.
  • Overtime as required.

Utility Support

Shift: 2nd

SUMMARY

The Asitrade Tech Level I is responsible for the overall production of the machine and the quality of the work produced.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
  • Monitor starch adhesion on the SF side with the X test quality check
  • Monitor glue adhesion on the DF side with the edge pull quality checks
  • Monitor front/back & side to side registration and understand how to communicate the adjustments to the operators
  • Understand line clearance, next order setup and all controls on the stacker sections
  • Be able to perform all monthly PM tasks on the stacker section of the machine.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Can assist the operators as required
  • Works Overtime as required
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED minimum.
  • Must be available to work 2nd shift.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. May require the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. May require the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient Microsoft Office computer skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must have prior die cut experience. Requires the ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top quality products. Normal vision is required.

The starting rate is $20.70 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
