A leading entertainment company is seeking entry-level kitchen cleaners for their Columbus location. The job requires cleaning kitchen equipment, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring a friendly environment for employees and guests. Ideal candidates should hold a High School Diploma or GED and be able to work in a fast-paced setting.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for cleaning and washing all kitchen equipment.
Cleans, washes, and inspects all dishware, silverware, and glasses.
Follows direction from venue chef.
Responsible for taking out kitchen trash, including grease and food particles from garbage disposals.
Responsible for cleaning walls, doors, ceiling, and floors in the kitchen and restaurant areas.
Adheres to all food safety and handling set by the Department of Public Health.
Maintains friendly, professional, and polite demeanor with all employees and guests.
Ensure the safety and security of all employees and guests.
Other duties as assigned.
MISCELLANEOUS
Understands and adheres to all Colorado Division of Gaming regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
Maintains interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
Demonstrates simple communication skills.
Able to accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Accuracy and cleanliness in completing tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED Required.
Must be at least 19 years of age to work in the Casino.
Entry level position with on-the-job training.
Must be able to understand directions.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.
Fast paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint.
Must be able to work with the public in a professional manner.
Must respect the confidentiality of both guests and company as sensitive information will be given and received.
