About the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center

The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) is a dynamic hub for government, business, commerce, and the community, located in the heart of the nation's capital. It is the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, serving as the official World Trade Center Washington, DC. The center features a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking, and public programming.

Position: Utility Steward

Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is seeking Utility Stewards to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

This position involves handling equipment (both dirty and clean), cleaning and sanitizing equipment (manually and with automated equipment such as dish machines), and sweeping and mopping floors in kitchen and pantry areas. The role requires adherence to all safety and sanitation standards.

Job Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Utility Steward is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and push and pull up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation and assistance.
  • Ability to work a full eight-hour shift, walking and standing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to transport heavy equipment safely and professionally through public areas, including kitchens, pantries, and crowded areas in both back and front of house.
  • Attention to detail, speed, cooperativeness, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work late hours, weekends, and holidays.
