POSITION OVERVIEW

The Utility Sewer Inspection Locator is responsible for assisting the operator in locating the robot using proper protocols. The role involves preparing the robot for launch and tracking robot and providing depth and location documentation while using a locating receiver. The operator follows protocols for maintaining the camera system and related equipment, paints depth on surfaces, documents location on flags in the field, assists in driving and fueling the Utility Inspection Trucks, serves as a spotter when moving the vehicle in tight locations, assists in soldering and repair of the robot and equipment, and follows safety procedures while operating various types of heavy equipment as related to each project.

• Ability to bend, kneel, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
