Job summary

STV is seeking a Utility Coordinator in the Asheville, NC area to oversee utility coordination and relocations for NCDOT and municipal projects. You will manage resources to identify conflicts and oversee relocations prior to construction.

Responsibilities include developing relocation strategies, interpreting plans, coordinating with agencies and contractors, and QA/QC of relocation packages. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related experience.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 1-3 years experience in MicroStation v8i and/or OpenRoads Designer software.
• Knowledge of ProjectWise software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop utility relocations strategies and provide coordination/relocation services.
• Interpret highway construction plans to identify utility impacts.
• Coordinate with NCDOT, utility owners, and contractors; prepare meetings and minutes.
• Prepare Environmental Permit drawings and narratives; QA/QC relocation packages.
