Qualifications

• High school diploma required; manufacturing technology degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience with stable work history.
• Ability to operate industrial machinery and testing instruments.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willing to work rotating shifts with overtime as needed.
• Comfortable working in a union environment.
• Proficient with basic computer systems.
• Able to work at various heights, temperatures and weather conditions.
• Able to perform math, locate information, observe and read for information as per Work-Keys.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean-up and perform operational tasks for the assigned production process.
• Operate manual valves and inspect production processes.
• Perform housekeeping tasks for the area.
• Participate in safety efforts, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Work in groups and independently to accomplish tasks.
• May be promoted to higher department position after qualification.
• Serve as task runner for various responsibilities.
