Job summary

Brock & Company, Inc. is hiring a Utility Associate for a private school in Massachusetts. The role is full-time and focuses on maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and dining area to support a high-quality food program for students and staff.

You will work 6am–8pm shifts, with weekend availability required, and will receive meals, uniforms, and a comprehensive benefits package as a family-owned employer.

Responsibilities

• Washes, sanitizes, and maintains food production equipment, pots, pans, dishes, and service ware as directed by the supervisor and cleaning schedule.
• Removes trash and waste to designated locations.
• Keeps the work area clean and safe per health, safety, and food handling regulations.
• Completes cleaning/organizational projects as assigned.

The Utility Associate

• Will maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Includes washing equipment and service ware, receiving and distributing deliveries, proper sanitation of the kitchen and dining room, trash removal and floor maintenance.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Lifting and moving of food, food containers and other non-food items from floor position to no higher than one's own height.
• Adhere to client and company protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.
• The above shall be achieved while providing exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Washing, sanitizing, and maintenance of food production equipment, pots, pans, dishes, & service ware determined by the supervisor and the cleaning schedule.
• The removal of trash and waste, as determined by supervisor, to a determined location.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area via supervisor instruction and applicable health, safety, and food handling regulations.
• Cleaning and organizational projects as assigned
