Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Colorado) is seeking a seasoned Pricing Analyst to develop and execute pricing and costing strategies, and to provide technical and regulatory expertise for rate design proposals and filings.

You will lead teams, perform financial and market analyses, and collaborate across functions to create competitive pricing models and risk management strategies in a regulated energy context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field with substantial pricing/regulatory exposure.
• Experience in regulatory pricing and testimony preparation is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills are required.
• Experience with GAAP and cost-of-service concepts.
• FERC accounting knowledge is beneficial.

• General knowledge of competitive energy markets and retail energy service provider strategies and operations


• Advanced computer modeling skills


• Preferred Xcel Energy Pricing experience


• Understanding of GAAP


• Understanding of uniform system of accounts (FERC)


• Understanding of cost-of-service revenue requirements and rate making


• Experience preparing testimony in a regulated environment


• Experience navigating multiple stakeholder interests


• Experience presenting on technical topics
