The salary for this position is $20-$26 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.

The Utility Pole Inspector / Assessment Technician performs qualified visual and physical condition assessments of wood utility poles for electric transmission and distribution programs. Work may include sounding, investigative boring, groundline excavation, decay assessment, measurements, treatment determination, preservative application, restoration, tagging, GPS/photo documentation, and digital reporting in accordance with client specifications and assigned qualifications.
This is a field-based role requiring frequent walking, digging, kneeling, bending, repetitive hand-tool use, and work on uneven terrain and utility rights-of-way. Work may occur in heat, cold, rain, mud, vegetation, insects, roadside environments, and remote locations. Regional travel and overnight assignments may be required.
