Job summary

This role involves preparing trenches, ensuring proper connections, and assisting in site cleanup.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and experience in road construction. The position requires physical stamina and a willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of road construction laborer experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience in installing sanitary sewer pipe and manholes.
• Willingness to become a union member (union membership not required prior to employment).

Responsibilities

• Prepare trenches and lay pipe to grade.
• Ensure proper connections meet safety and project specifications.
• Assist with maintaining machines and equipment.
• Help in cleanup of the job site.

Skills

Valid driver's license

Ability to lift 75 pounds

Knowledge of confined spaces

OSHA trenching

Education
