Waukesha Pearce Industries, LLC is seeking a versatile shop maintenance professional to handle general building upkeep, steam cleaning of rental equipment, and shop mechanics support. You will operate steam cleaners, forklifts, and overhead cranes while keeping facilities clean and organized.

Responsibilities include assisting in steam cleaning machines, documenting equipment conditions, and performing data entry.

Job description

Scope of Work:Responsible for general building maintenance tasks.Assist in steam cleaning machines returned for rentals and equipment going into the shop.Operate Tennet sweeper and maintain the equipment year. Other duties as assigned.Shipping/receiving machines and attachments from manufacturers, customers and various othersources. Enter data into computer system, photograph equipment and inspect fordamages.Will also perform as shop mechanic when necessary.Primary Job Responsibilities:Maintain a clean and orderly department.Keep shop, offices, and grounds clean and organized.General maintenance on machinery and buildings.Pick up and delivery as required.Maintain steam cleaner equipment.Fill in as a shop mechanic when needed.Ensure that material/components removed from vat are properly cleaned and organized.Assist steam cleaning machines and other equipment.Perform other duties as assigned.Working Conditions:Typical hours of work M - F; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Weekend hours as necessary.Inside and outside work.Minimum Qualifications:G.E.D. or High School Diploma.Must have 4 years previous experience.Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives.Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.Must conform to company policies and procedures set forth by the company.Must be able to lift 50 pounds.Must be able to bend and twist several times a day.Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days and weekends (as necessary).Must be dependable and work independent.Must maintain good client relations.Must maintain a professional appearance.Must promote and maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment along with complying with state regulations for hazardous waste disposal.Must have the ability to supervise and motivate others.Must have the ability to effectively operate forklifts.Must have the ability to effectively operate a steam cleaner and be able to maintain the pressure of the steam cleaner.Must have the ability to effectively operate general hand tools.Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes.Must have good organizational skills.Must protect the company assets and interest.
