Description

Provide support to the facility in various positions.

Essential position responsibilities include performing various jobs within the warehouse or on the grounds as assigned, such as pallet sorting, restacking, identifying product that does not meet customer specifications, rework, and sanitation.

As a member of the team, responsibilities include participating in ongoing development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies, as well as coordinating work to ensure B.E.S.T practices with all team members.

The role requires familiarity with Simmons' established operating systems, including quality, security, office environment, and company policies, and understanding the responsibility to maintain familiarity with these systems.

Other duties include performing tasks in support of business objectives, working in a busy, noisy, dusty environment with temperature extremes, and being able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Requirements include obtaining and maintaining company-issued forklift certification, previous forklift experience preferred, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
