Job Description:

• Assist in line start-up, remove trash, and relieve when necessary.
• Assist in line setup, stock packaging materials, and pack and palletize products.
• Notify supervisors of machinery issues.
• Maintain a clean work area and observe safety and sanitation rules.
• Use proper lifting techniques and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Operate pallet jack and perform other duties as assigned.
• Monitor product control points such as weight, size, and temperature.

Requirements:

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks.
• Read weights and scales.
• Perform mathematical calculations and analyze data.
• Willing to become certified to operate a pallet jack.
• At least 3 months of work history with the same employer.
• At least 6 months of machine operator experience.
• This location is not accepting rehires.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to move product weighing 5 lbs. constantly and 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Exert forces of 10 lbs. and grip forces of 17 lbs. frequently.
• Lift 50 to 75 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Walk up to 4 miles during a shift and work in extreme temperatures.
