Job summary

Electrolux Group is seeking an Assembly support role in Springfield, TN, with a shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, Monday through Friday. You will assist production, help train teammates, and cover for absenteeism to keep lines moving.

The role requires English reading/writing, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and use air and hand tools in a manufacturing setting. Exposure to noise and variable temperatures is possible.

Qualifications

• Must have Math Level 1.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to work with insulation.
• Proficient in using air tools and hand tools necessary for the position.
• Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Able to stand for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide support throughout the Assembly department to produce the highest quality products on time, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Assist the supervisor in training associates and following up on quality-related issues.
• Serve as a backfill for absenteeism.
• Assist with changeovers
• Gain basic knowledge of gas flow, including connections, dangers, LP vs. Natural, and drop test procedures.
• Read and comprehend schematic wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot functional defects.

This role is in Springfield, TN. The role shift will start at 3:30 pm and end 12:00am Monday through Friday. This role supports the production line and will follow production needs.

Physical Demands:

• Should be able to team lift any package greater than 25 lbs.
• Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending
• Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and temperature variations.
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for equipment operation and inspections.
