Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Utility Operator in Washington to operate loader/backhoe/skidsteer equipment, perform routine maintenance, and support safe, efficient utility systems. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work under pressure, and adherence to health and safety policies.

You will conduct groundwork, assist with miscellaneous duties, and participate in continuous improvement of site safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience operating utility systems preferred.
• Must be able to learn and follow safety policies and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader/backhoe/skidsteer safely and efficiently.
• Complete groundwork and labour tasks.
• Understand road construction best practices and grading.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and equipment safety.
• Assist with other duties as needed and perform routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as required.
• Monitor utility consumption and adjust for efficiency.
