Job description

Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery has full-time (40 hours/week) openings for a third shift 12-hour (6pm-6am) Operator. The starting rate is $28.42 with a 7-10% night differential added to the base pay. The schedule for this shift is a 4-on-4-off rotation. Employees are eligible for pay increases every 6 months during the first two years of employment.

This position operates as part of a team in an advanced capacity and involves cross-training in multiple production roles. The lead operator will manage equipment such as cheese-making machinery and whey drying equipment, directly impacting operations and quality. Utility operators are cross-trained to operate various pieces of equipment, providing role variety. Main responsibilities include:

• Cheese Maker/Cook
• Dryer Operator
• Evaporator Operator
• Filtration Operator
• Separator Operator

A key aspect of this role is establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members, providing guidance to trainees and colleagues, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Candidates must demonstrate sound judgment and flexibility, including willingness to work overtime when needed.
