Job summary

Sedona Staffing Services is seeking an ENTRY LEVEL press brake operator for the 1st shift. You will bend steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, performing parts from start to finish with minimal assistance.

Daily duties include CNC operation and setup, reading drawings, and using metrology tools to measure parts. Training provided for related tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• CNC programming and operation experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Strong math and measurement skills in a time-sensitive environment.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend for an entire shift and lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Operate, program, setup, and troubleshoot CNC.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Accurately measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and other tools.
• Operate a crane and press brake.
• Operate a robot welder and perform small part assembly.
• Perform other duties as needed throughout the department.

MACHINE OPERATION-GENERAL UTILITY

HOURS: 1ST SHIFT

WAGE: $23/HOUR

Summary:

ENTRY LEVEL press brake operator. Bending steel, stainless steel and aluminum, doing jobs start to finish with no help (set-up, program, bend and check your own parts)

Candidates that are considered will have the following daily duties:

• Operate, program, setup, and troubleshoot CNC
• Read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances
• Accurately measure parts with a variety of different metrology tools
  • Including micrometers and calipers
• Operate a crane
• Press brake operation
• Robot welder
• Small part Assembly
• Other duties as needed throughout department

Qualifications:

• CNC Program and operate
• Capability to perform basic Math and measuring in a time-sensitive matter
• Ability to stand/stoop/bend for an entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50+lbs multiple times per shift
