Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery has full-time (40 hours/week) openings for a third shift 12-hour Operator position. The shift runs from 6pm to 6am, with a schedule of 4 days on, 4 days off. Starting pay is $28.42 per hour, with an additional 7-10% night differential. Employees are eligible for pay increases every 6 months during the first two years of employment.
This role involves working as part of a team, in an advanced capacity, and includes cross-training in various production positions. The lead operator will manage equipment such as cheese making and whey drying machinery, directly impacting operations and quality. Cross-trained utility operators will handle multiple pieces of equipment, providing variety in roles. Main responsibilities, once trained, include:
A key aspect of this position is establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members, providing guidance to trainees and coworkers, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Solid judgment abilities are essential. Flexibility to work overtime occasionally is required.
