Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a dedicated Utility Operator to support our industrial processing and disposal operations in Bristol, CT. You will operate multiple mobile equipment, manage ash handling, and assist with tipping floor activities.

As a Utility Operator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of operational tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic industrial environment to support Reworld's industrial processing and disposal operations. This role requires the ability to operate various types of mobile equipment, support facility operations, manage waste handling activities, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with operational and environmental standards. Utility Operators work across multiple areas of the facility and support both day shift and rotating shift operations.
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience operating mobile or industrial equipment is preferred. Ability to work safely in an industrial environment and follow all safety procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
The Utility Operator works on two schedules that rotate approximately every three (3) months. Rotation timing may be adjusted based on staffing levels and operational needs.
Monday through Friday 6:20 AM to 2:50 PM
2 Days On / 2 Days Off / 5 Days On / 5 Days Off 6:20 AM to 6:20 PM Rotation includes both day and night shifts
Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, and climb for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces. Must qualify to wear a full-face respirator. Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environmental conditions and weather. Ability to safely operate mobile equipment and perform duties in an active industrial setting.

This role is covered under a Labor Union / Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The pay rate and benefits will be accordance with CBA for the role.
