Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Back Plant Operator to support the safe, efficient operations of industrial systems and equipment used in our disposal process. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and document details following facility procedures to ensure reliability and compliance.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and experience operating heavy industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools
• Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures
• Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures
• Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks
• Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations

About the role

As a Back Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations of industrial systems and equipment associated with Reworld’s industrial disposal process.

Position Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have experience operating heavy industrial equipment
• Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule

This role is covered under a Labor Union / Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The pay rate and benefits will be according to CBA for the role.
